The Greenpoint Cardigan

Cardigan

Continuing on with this mini project growth spurt sewing project for miss J is this cute little cardigan. And I made it just in time for a little cold front we are having!

        Cardigan

I made it using a lovely pattern sent my way called the Greenpoint Cardigan. It is by Adrianna of Crafterhours. Her pattern shop is under construction at the moment, but it will be up and running soon! I used a fabric from JoAnn's for the main part then upcycled two shirts for the sleeve and bottom band and the neck piece.

It was a really easy sew with good clear instructions. Guess what? It's for boys too! Check out what Created Blissfully made for her little boy using this pattern here.

Also, I am super excited to be using my new labels I made using this tutorial. I plan on talking about them a bit more once they go through the wash a few times to see how it holds up for me. I love fabric printed labels, so I'm hoping my printer ink cooperates ;) Oh, and J is wearing earrings we made here.

    1. Thank you :) I am really hoping this works because I love fabric labels best and would love to make them very easily when I need to.

    1. It is really such a great simple sew! The longest part was preparing the pattern pieces ;) Have fun making your own!

  3. gah, just saw that the email I wrote was stuck in drafts - sorry!! Anyway, I meant to say that I really love this - your idea to use geometric with floral is awesome and so on-trend right now too! Thanks for taking the time to make my pattern. I hope miss J loves it! (and now I'm off to deal with more customer service about my site, ugh...)
