Thanksgiving Day is over and now we are beginning to start preparing for Christmas. So let's start over here with this diy! But before we get going on that.....you know about Silhouette right? Well, they are having some really good deals going on today that I want to share real quick for anyone interested:

Awesome right? Now is the time to buy from them if you have been thinking about it. You can see some of the projects I have made using the Silhouette Cameo here. And now instructions for another diy project using my Cameo:

These little Christmas knees were so easy to do. Seriously. What wasn't so easy was getting pictures of this girl! I tell you, she just doesn't want to stay still these days. I love it though :)

To make these you will need a pair of leggings or pants, a ruler, and heat transfer material (I used the flocked kind. I love this stuff!).

Measure the pant leg at the knee to get an idea of how wide you want the graphic of your choice to be. Then find one you like from the Silhouette shop and create it to be the size you want. Pop in the heat transfer material into the Silhouette according to the instructions on the box and then let the Silhouette cut it out for you.

Following directions on the box, apply graphic to pants where the child's knees would be and iron on.

If you pick easy designs you can do this easily without a silhouette machine by using scissors. Although, I do say it's so nice to let the machine do all that work and have it come out perfect. Of course this isn't limited to Christmas things. You could do all kinds of graphics for the knees.
Now it's time for us to start a nice weekend with the fam. I'm thinking an outdoor adventure should be our agenda now that the temperatures are in the 70's. Enjoy your weekend!

    1. Thank you Laura :) Yes, I think from now on I will do elbow and knee patches this way. Then I don't have to sew it on!
