This past weekend we were able to celebrate 6 years of marriage.
It was probably one of the best weekends I've had in a while. First of all, my hubby watched the girls so I could have my first girls night since we moved. Then Saturday was filled with a soccer game and just being with my girls. Sunday was even better as a couple friend of ours watched our girls so we could go out alone! Yay!
That doesn't happen very often. They also helped us get these pics :)
I made my skirt (trying to recreate this look from Anthropologie). I really like it and hopefully can get a tutorial of it done at some point. The shirt is one I had from Forever 21 (I think they still have it). Shoes are from Target.
It was fun to dress up and put on some red lipstick. I felt young. I mean I still am, but you know, like before kids young ;)
It's been a wild, crazy, wonderful ride these first six years and I'm excited for all of the ones ahead of us!

Congrats on six years! I know exactly what you mean about feeling young, at the ripe old age of 26 I feel the same way haha. We went out for food and drink and laughs for my birthday this past weekend with friends, and yes ok, we had the baby with us, but he slept the whole time and I was dressed nice, wearing makeup, and felt carefree! :)

We celebrated 10 years just before last Christmas, and got to go out for the evening for the first time since having kids (we don't have any family close by) - and it DOES make you feel really young again. Gorgeous photos girl. Here's to many more wonderful years together.
