The Babies Are Coming!!!!!!!!!!

Ready or not......

Yellow Baby Cloche Hat

Lately there has been a little surge in the baby department. It tends to happen that way, doesn't it? So, I just had to make some things for some of these new and soon to be here little ones. I found this A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E crochet baby cloche hat pattern. Is it not the cutest thing ever????? And guess what? It takes no time at all (well, at least to a somewhat seasoned crocheter) and it is easy and only takes one small skein of yarn. Amazing. That is just what it is.

White Baby Cloche Hat

I liked it so much, I made two. I found it on Shannon's blog, luvinthemommyhood. It is by Annieliese of Aesthetic Nest. Let me tell you what, that lady is super talented. So much fun stuff over on her site!

Bibs and Cloths for baby gift

And you can never go wrong with whipping up some bibs and burp cloths. Everyone can use a ton of those. Funny how it seems to be all girl stuff huh???? Maybe I'll break that and have a boy? :) Well, not if my daughter has anything to say about it!

I'll email you too, but in case anyone else is wondering..... Yes. If the little cooperates, I want to find out what it is. I still feel so icky!!!!!! But, I guess I'm learning to cope with it better. Still not fun though.

I love that cloche pattern; it is on my to-do list. I absolutely adore that ivory/yellow colored yarn you used... what brand and color is it?

I made like four of this hat in baby sizes and a few in toddler sizes for my 3 year old! I had some sizing issues from switching yarn types so I wound up with a tiny hat that was perfect for my preemie niece and a really big hat that was perfect for my older niece, as well as ones for my daughters, so now all four of them match! LOL I also just finished the chenille blanket from Anneliese, it's what I blogged today actually.
Now that I think about it, everyone really is having girls! All my mommyfriends and mommybloggerfriends seem to have a case of the Baby Girls! I know I do, haha.

When you posted "The babies are coming" it reminded me of a year ago when we found out we were having TWINS ....at 20 1/2 weeks along...
Yep. Only 18 weeks to prep for twins. It was a whirlwind.

I was getting excited for you when you said BABIES... I thought TWINS! :D

(Cute stuff, BTW)

OMG - I have made about 6 of those little hats. That pattern is so super easy and I just love the flower and the scalloped edge. Anneliese is one of my favorites :-)

Have a great one,
Lindsay

I love that pattern too! Seriously one of the cutest baby hats ever. I made one for my friend... and made the flower detachable (because she didnt' know what she was having... it was blues and greens, but you know, may have still been a bit girly for a boy)! LOVE the bibs, by the way!

I made up some of those little hats too after seeing them on your blog! I made up the big girls sizes too! The biggest one fits me. I think all the girls in your house need matching ones!
