I'm thinking of having 2-3 sewers try out this pattern for me. Just leave me a comment (leave your email if you don't have your info public) and I will pick a few of you this weekend. Here are the requirements:
-Must know how to sew
-Must be able to make one octopus within two weeks of receiving the pattern (which would be Sunday or Monday via email)
To make one, you will need 1/2 yard of fleece, a fat quarter of fabric, a pair of 12 mm safety eyes (or you could cut felt circles), scraps of felt, embroidery thread, and misc. for any accessories.
Here are some pictures of other ones I have made in the past:

Cute, cute, cute! I would love to test out the pattern! I'm a new sewer, but am already very experienced! I've already made the Amy Butler weekender bag, tons of other bage, and an uncoutable number of girls clothes. Pick me!! My project turn-around is about 2 days!
I would love to test! They are so cute! I have the materials on hand!
I would love to test patterns as well. I LOVE to sew, I've done mostly clothes for my daughter and friends and blankets for baby dolls, but I definitely want to try that octopus!!

These are adorabel. I would love to sew one for you. I have everything on hand to make it.
I'd LOVE to test it! I just found your blog a few days ago and have been enjoying all your posts (yes, archives too) and I found this octopus and was going to ask you if you had a tutorial somewhere. This would be perfect! Of course, no chance for me unless you randomly draw a number or something---I am like comment number 46 or something!
wow, it looks like you have lots of volunteers! I'd like to throw my name in the hat - it's such a cute pattern, and I'd love to make one fore you. Thanks for considering all of us!

that is the cutest octopus I've ever seen!!
I'd love to give it a try. I'm a "start to finish in one sitting sewer". I like to see results right away and love patterns that are simple and clear enough to enable me to do that.
ettafi@gmail.com
I would love such a fabulous opportunity to be a tester!! Such a cute octapus! Thanks!
craftaholic@rocketmail.com
Oh man! It look like you have a ton of sewers to choose from... but I would love to test your patterns as well.
We are on a very limited budget, so I love testing! I'm very quick, too. It would never take me two weeks to complete the project.
My email is listed on my blog.
The octopus is adorable, btw. So cute!
Super cute! I love coming up with random softies :) I have ll the supplies in my stash and would looooove to whip up a cute lil' octopus!
What a cutie! I would love to sew you one!
Is it a problem I'm all the way in the Netherlands?
I would love to try this. I would consider myself a beginner, lots of quilt experience. So at least you'll know if your pattern works for peeps like me!
Such a cutie-pie little pattern!
After a week of sewing:
50 bean bags, 6 juggling balls, 1 gored skirt, 1 pair recon-shoe/boots, re-lining a corset, and reverse applique-ing a name patch...
I think my wee little man would appreciate me making a stuftie for him and my sewing machine would appreciate a smallish project.
Best and Blessed!
If you want a tester that doesn't really know what she's doing (ie you want to see if it is simple enough for new people) then I'm your girl. I've only made an apron from a pattern before. But seeing as you already have a lot of responses, I'm gonna assume you are already good to go with testers! I'm excited to know how it all turns out!
I would love to test your patterns for you too! I love sewing and would love to make this adorable octopus.
serena.gerke@gmail.com

Looks like a nice afternoon project.
Jessica,
Those are soooooo adorable!!!!
I'd love to give the pattern a go as a tester. I am experienced in clothes, quilts, dolls, etc and have used DOZENS of patterns purchased from Etsy, and oodles of free ones. Before having children, I was a teacher, so I have attention to detail. = )

I'd love the opportunity to test sew. I have been stocking up on some "doll making" books lately and be inspired by beginning with your patterns. I can already see some adorable eyes with some sweet stitching. Perhaps a "Mod" octopus. BTW my brother lives in Jacksonville. He works at the base.
I could certainly (and would love to) try out your pattern for you!
Here is a link to my latest project, I did the skirts with a tutorial and the shirts off the top of my head. I am new at patterns so this would be awesome for me, and I could let you know if it is something a new/moderate sewer is able to do easily or not.

I would love to test your pattern. I have a lot of experience sewing my own monster softies. And, I have some fleece on hand. Plus, my 19 month old son would love it. His past time is playing with my pins and my pincushion (sounds dangerous, but he freaks out when I take it away).
I would love to test your pattern! My name is Jessica and my email is cobb.ja@gmail.com. I have some experience sewing softies and this one looks so cute, I have just the child in mind I would sew it for already!
These are very cute. I would love to give it a try. I have sewn bags and clothes. I am still learning a lot though.

I would LOVE to test your patterns! I have grown up around sewing, sewed my first item (blanket for my baby doll) on my grandmother's sewing machine when I was 6. I am interested in all things kid related and I also love to sew adult aprons. IF you ever do any boys items...please, keep me in mind! My son is 5 and there are so very few boy items out there
