About Me

5.22.2009

Hi :) My name is Jessica Fediw and welcome to my blog. Here is a little bit about myself. I am currently a stay at home mom to two daughters. My big girl is Miss J and is 4 years old. My baby girl is Miss E and is under a year. My husband is in the Coast Guard and we were college sweethearts. Because of his job, we are currently living in Sulphur, LA. We both grew up in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia surrounded by family and friends, so this is a big venture for us. We are using the time to explore places we have never been before.

I am in my late twenties and am still trying to figure out what to do with myself, most of the time. I love God and have had a relationship with him through Jesus since I was a little girl. I also love to craft (if you can't tell ;). I sew and crochet mainly, but I love to try other thing too. My grandmother and mom taught me the basics when I was little, but I didn't really get into it until I was about to graduate from college (GO ODU!!!!). At that point, I basically began to reteach myself and I am still learning how to do things better all the time.

I started this blog to be my creative outlet. I want to share what I am doing with hopes of inspiring others. My goal is to eventually make things to sell on a regular basis and design patterns to sell. Thank you for taking the time to stop by and check out my blog. I am really glad to have joined the crafting blog community and look forward to continuing in it. Have a blessed day!

  17. I was just checking out some of your creative ideas and noticed a few pictures that reminded me of the Ed Austin Park playground...when I went to your "about me" section, I noticed you live in Jax! What a small world. We just moved away from Jax after living there for 2 years and moved to Utah. Hope you enjoy the winters...that was always my favorite time of year - building sand snowmen on the beach.

Love your blog and your wonderful ideas!

  24. Hello,
I just found your blog yesterday--and I promptly tried the no heat curls last night!!
It's a delight to find another Christian FL blogger.
My blog is a collection of daily adventures, photos, stories of family, friends, and the little ones I babysit. Deep down I'm a crafter at heart, I just don't devote much time to it. Here's hoping I can work more on that!

    Have a lovely day!

  25. Hi Jessica! I just found your blog a last week, and thought I would say hi! My husband is a pilot in the Navy, so I completely understand about venturing outside your comfort zone with moving around. So far, we've been to two places in TX, VA Beach, and now we live in Japan. I love to blog and will be following your's from now on. We hope to move back to VA Beach after our three years are up here, so maybe some day we'll be able to meet in person. :) God Bless!!

  30. Hello, I am looking for some Rag Quilt letters which I have a calendar which shows me how to do this and it says I can trace letters for the alphabet from you at ohsohappytogether.blogspot.com. unfortunately I can't find the free pattern. Can you please guide me to where the free pattern is located on your blog? I love your blog. I have a loved one in Hospital but will check back to see where the patterns are if you would be so kind to help with this. I want to make them for my granddaughter for Christmas. Thanks so very much. Deb Davis
